Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is finally here! We get to eat lots of yummy food and reflect on all of the things that we are thankful for.

Since it's so late, this is going to be quite short. I just wanted to share a blog post that Beckah Shae posted. It's great to think about!

Summer Lesson: Friends

School starts in 2 weeks! You'll be meeting new people & making new friends. God wants you to have friends that would be friends with him, so choose them wisely! These friends will help you or tear you down.

Choose friends that:
*have good morals (1 Cor 15:33)
*are modest (1 Tim 2:9)
*abstain from things they shouldn't do (1 Peter 4:3)
*can hold their tongue (James 1:26)
*are honest (Luke 8:15)
*are law-abiding (Romans 13:1-7)
Be a light to those who don't walk with Jesus, but don't surround yourselves with them. "Be with wise men & become wise, be with evil men & become evil." Proverbs 13:20.
